Green your wedding shower…

Let’s talk about love, baby!  Yesterday we showed you ways to green your baby shower, today we’ll look at wedding showers.   While the two overlap a bit (did you see the paper flower centerpieces?!) we have some that are unique for weddings.  So, here are five ways to green your wedding shower.

1-  Heart confetti:  sure you can throw rice or birdseed, but imagine if flowers grew from your confetti!  As shown in the Martha Stewart Weddings Winter Issue, this heart shaped plantable seed confetti will grow into wildflowers. It’s eco-friendly, fun and memorable!  Use outside or scattered on tables indoors.

2-  Seeded heart box:  these boxes make a perfect shower favor. Interlocking heart opens the box so you can add your favorite treat: Endangered Species cranberry & almond anyone?!  When the treats are gone, plant the box indoors or out to grow lovely wildflowers.

3- Personalized Organic 1oz soap bars: yes, the adorable 1/2 bars we showed yesterday make a great wedding shower favor too. But, why not personalize those same fabulous organic soaps. Add your names & wedding date to each individually wrapped bar 1oz organic bar.

4- Seeded cards– ideal for table place cards or thank you notes, your guest can plant the attached cake, dress, or flip flops (great for destination weddings) and grow wildflowers.  Customize with your names, date, and personal message.  Each card is available with or without an envelope; die-cuts available in
blue, pink, lavender, petal, green, yellow, and cream.

Upcycled Paper Ball:  Decorate your tables with these fabulous paper balls.  Each ball is made from 12 individual flowers.  Great way to personalize centerpieces with “your song,” map from where you met, romantic novels, or your thematic colors.

Daily Green Special:  Purchase 5 upcycled paper balls and receive a 6th one free!  Just write “bride” in the checkout notes and we’ll add the free flower ball to your order.  Offer valid until tomorrow’s post.  Happy Wednesday!
