My son has apparently decided that five days is way too long to continue with overly good behavior in sympathy of mom STILL having no voice. For more reasons than one, I am so very glad I taught them basic sign language when they were babies. My daughter, on the otherhand, thrilled to show off her haircut (more so that her curls are straightened for a day or too) woke early and fixed both of their lunches. Everything is a balance. Of course, I love the good things more and I really love when companies do great things.
SpaRitual already set the bar high by offering the first vegan polish (no crushed beetles- even Starbucks can’t seem to do away with those!-fish scales or gelatin). They continued with no DBP, Toluene, and Formaldehyde (the carcinogenic three), and followed with recycled/recyclable bottles and gripper tops. But now they’re doing more. In case you haven’t heard, I thought I’d fill you in on two great projects. April 22nd is the 42nd Earth Day. In honor of their respect for the earth, SpaRitual has created the SpaRitual SOIL Earth Day Lacquer Duo. This Earth Day Duo contains a full bottle of shimmery dark rusty-brown Native Soil, and a light brown creme Back to Your Roots. The gift box also contains a pack of wild flower seeds and an original poem by SpaRitual founder, Shel Pink. A portion of all proceeds goes to SOIL : Sustainable Organic Integrated Livelihoods: a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting soil resources, empowering communities and transforming wastes into resources in Haiti. They believe that the path to sustainability is through transformation, of both disempowered people and discarded materials, turning apathy and pollution into valuable resources.
Daily Green Special: Since you’re doing good for others buying these polishes, we’ll do something good for you too. Purchase any two of the four colors (or one duo set) and receive a free bottle of SpaRitual Fluent (vegan) Polish Remover. Just write “earth” in the checkout notes and we’ll add the free remover to your order. Offer valid until tomorrow’s post. Happy Wednesday!
