On the road again…

Ahhh, the holiday season is upon us.

Great food, family time, and a whole lot of hectic thrown in the mix (or is it just me?).

While some may find visiting family a relaxing vacation, anyone traveling with small kids knows getting there is anything but serene.

Whether traveling by train, bus, car, or plane, little ones need entertainment, for your own sanity especially!

If you’re headed to grandma’s house over the river, or through the woods, these 4 great finds will keep young ones happy and busy.

Let’s Go Green Activity Books: Pages of puzzles, games, coloring, and drawing to keep them busy (and you from hearing another episode of annoying Spongebob!). Four books available: Number Fun, Coloring Fun, Picture Puzzles, and Word Fun. Don’t forget the Colored Eco-Pencils to go with it!

Bynto Box: We’re down to our final few USA made Bynto boxes. Sure they’re great for snacks, but they’re also handy for holding small toys, or craft supplies too. BPA and phthalate free, dishwasher safe, and comes with water-based stickers for decorating.

Recycled Cardboard Toys: These crafty kits are really three activities in one. First, kids can use the non-toxic markers (included) to color and decorate. Next, follow the simple directions to assemble. Then, enjoy hours of pretend play. Folds flat for easy transportation too!

Camo Binoculars: Games of “I spy” are more fun when kids can use their camouflage “binoculars” to scope out hidden objects. Recycled paper stickers turn ordinary toilet paper rolls into cool new binoculars. Or, transform a mac n’ cheese box into a camera! Younger ones will love taking family photos, you’ll love not worrying about a broken camera or phone!

Daily Green Special: While you’re picking up something for the kids, why not get a little extra holiday shopping completed too! Spend $75 (shipping not included) and receive a free EcoGear Panda Backpack!  Just write “Panda” in the checkout notes and we’ll add the free backpack to your order.  Offer valid until tomorrow’s post. Happy Thursday!
