Use this, Not that!

You’ve probably heard of the book “Eat this, Not that” which finds healthier options to common fast foods & drinks. Today is our version-

Use this, Not that!

Using information provided on the fabulous Skin Deep Database, products are divided into three categories based on toxicity levels. 0-2= green/safe, 3-6= yellow, moderate concern, 7-10= red/hazardous.

Over the past couple of months, Skin Deep has been revamping their website. They now include information for over 78,000 products. Obviously, though, that doesn’t come close to all of the skin care products on the market. Smaller companies are often not included, but you can also search by ingredient. Skin Deep is also in the process of updating all product formulas prior to a certain date; so, some products that were on the site may be momentarily off while they verify ingredients.

We’ve matched a few of our favorites with a few “popular” brands.
