Take notes: paper that won’t hurt the trees!

I’m sure at some point, spiral notebooks will disappear from “back to school lists.” School administrators will one day finally realize the impact paper has on our environment. You may remember from our Tree-Free Paper post that approximately 4 billion trees are cut down each year to manufacture paper- we’re losing trees faster than they can regrow.

How can you avoid adding to deforestation as you shop for back to school supplies?

Look for paper that’s 100% recycled, or skip the trees altogether and go with banana paper.
