Travel activities for kids

For some of you, Labor Day is the last weekend before school starts.  For others, it’s a nice three-day break after nearly a month of school already.  Regardless, Labor Day weekend seems to claim the official end of summer.

It’s also a great opportunity for one last getaway before the hectic schedules of “routine” truly set in.

Whether you travel by car, train, or plane (and you’re bringing kids), one thing is certain: at some point they’ll announce “I’m bored.”

kids on the goWith the Kids on the Go activity set, though, you may never hear “Are we there yet?”

We start with the Ecogear Gorilla messenger bag or Ecogear Panda backpack (perfect for little ones to carry on their own!) and fill it with a recycled cardboard kit, a Let’s Go Green activity book, 12 pack Faber-Castell colored pencils, a sustainable wood top, banana paper note pad, bamboo paper pencil, an eco-eraser, and a bug bite chocolate.

The Calafant recycled cardboard kit is three activities in one: decorating, assembling, and playing! It also folds flat for convenient transportation. Warning though, this toy may keep them busy for a long time. You may have to spend extra time with your friends while they continue “working” and playing!

The Kids on the Go set is perfect for entertaining siblings at sporting events, and makes a perfect gift.
