New Uses for Dry Erase Markers

One of the most versatile objects in your house can usually be found in your desk drawer. Though in my house, you’ll find a set of these in the kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room. What can’t we live without? Dry erase markers! erase messages on the mirror. Wake someone up with a surprise mirror message, or leave an inspiring quote for yourself. Kids need a morning routine reminder? Leave the checklist on the mirror as a fun guide. ones under foot while you’re cooking? Use a dry erase marker on non-stainless steel appliances to practice math or spelling. Mistakes or completed problems are easily erased with a dry dishcloth.

Or, keep a grocery list on the side of the refrigerator. As soon as an item is gone, add it right to your fridge list.

Beginners need a few tips doing laundry? Write cold/warm/dryer heat reminders on the machines.

imageEntertaining? Help guests with differentiating dips or ingredients by labeling serving dishes. Draw a hot pepper to designate spicy, or a peanut so there’s no question for allergens.

Friends won’t accidentally mix-up ranch and blue cheese when the ramekins are easily marked! photos with the date or location by writing on the frame glass with your dry erase markers.

Frame a blank copy of a frequently used list (grocery, chore, menu, or to-do) and write items on frame glass.  Simply erase & start over the next day or week.

Or, like 3 Garnets & 2 Sapphires suggests,  leave encouraging messages or words of gratitude!
